Asmodee will release The Great Wall, a board game by Awaken Realms, into retail on May 5, 2023.

The Great Wall is a Eurogame that Awaken Realms crowd-funded in June 2022, raising about $1,428,143 (converted from Pound sterling) from 15,794 backers (about $90 per backer).  It is a worker placement game where players assume the roles of generals in an ancient Chinese empire.  These generals are tasked with defending the empire against ruthless hordes of invaders.  To save the empire, players will gather advisors, manage workers, recruit armies, and build the Great Wall.

The game box comes with 96 models, 119 cards, 18 Wall components, and 233 tokens.  It is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 120 to 180 minutes. It will retail for $149.00.

Asmodee will also release CMON's Masters of the Universe: The Board Game - Clash for Eternia into retail (see "'Masters of the Universe' Board Game Heads to Retail").
