Both games were originally announced back in January 2022 as part of a licensing deal with Jagex Ltd (see "'Runescape' for Tabletop"). RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg board game was crowd-funded in May 2022 (see "'RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg'") via a Kickstarter campaign that raked in approximately $1,094,581 (converted from Pounds sterling) from 6,634 backers (about $165 per backer).  RuneScape Kingdoms: The Roleplaying Game, which uses the bespoke 3d6 dice system, will hit preorder in late September 2023. Steamforged is also offering a Collector's Edition for this book as a direct exclusive.
