Marvel Comics has announced a new collection of Nao Fuji’s Marvel Meow, which started as an Instagram comic and is now an Infinity Comic webtoon on the Marvel Unlimited service.  Marvel Meow #1 will collect the first ten episodes of the webtoon, which feature Marvel heroes and villains having adventures with their cats, including Chewie, Liho, and Alpine.  The comic will be released on January 3, 2024, with a main cover by Fuji and variants by Doaly and Chrissie Zullo.

Fuji’s earlier Marvel Meow Instagram comics were collected as a graphic novel (see “Marvel and VIZ Team Up for ‘Marvel Meow’ and ‘Deadpool Samurai’”).  The hardcover made the ComicHub top 20 graphic novels list (see “Top 20 Graphic Novels – October 2021”).

Marvel has also brought two other animal-themed Infinity Comics to print, Alligator Loki #1 (see “Top 50 Comics – September 2023”) and Jeff the Land Shark #1 (see “Marvel’s Jeff the Land Shark Leaps from (Eisner Nominated!) Webtoon to Print”).
