AWA has announced U and I, a six-issue superpowered romance set in their Resistance Universe. U and I is created and written by J. Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5), with art and covers by Mike Choi (Uncanny X-Men).  The two previously worked together on Moths, also from AWA.  The first issue of U and I will be out February 7, 2024, just before Valentine’s Day.

The Resistance Universe launched in March 2020, with the concept of “Reborns” gaining superpowers after a global pandemic (see “AWA Launches Shared Superhero Universe”).  U and I pairs Isabelle with the superpowered U, who is pursued by a crime syndicate out for revenge.  In addition to continuing the AWA superhero universe, U and I can be read as a stand-alone love story.
