Europa Universalis was originally a 1993 board game which European video game publisher Paradox Interactive licensed to create its first video game title. The epic historical development game spans more than 300 years of history from 1444 to 1821. Now it has been reborn as a 4x game, where players build a nation and attempt to survive scenarios through key moments in history. This new game is from Aegir Games, designed by Eivind Vetlesen. The deal for this game was originally announced in 2018 (see “Paradox Interactive Unplugs”).
Aegir Games’ standard edition of Europa Universalis: The Price of Power is for 1-4 players ages 14 and up and plays in 2-3 hours. MSRP is $120.
