This new card game, designed by Chris Wray, goes retro by featuring the half-xylophone, half-guitar synthe-wonder instrument, the xylotar. Players will use their cards to create all-new sounds and melodies in an attempt to find the perfect musical balance in this trick-taking game. They will have to use deduction and observation to bid on different colored and numbered cards based on their order to gain points and win when the game ends.
Xylotar is for two to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. It will retail for $14.95.
Bezier Games will also release Rebel Princess, a card game based loosely on the Hearts mechanic, at Gen Con 2024 (see "'Rebel Princess Deluxe Edition'").
