Random House Worlds will publish The Little Witcher, a family-friendly tale of adoptive dad Geralt and young Witcher-in-training Ciri, in May 2025. The story is by CD Projekt Red, developers of The Witcher video game series, with art by Giada Carboni. The humor looks like it is modeled after Jeffrey Brown’s Star Wars books (see “Jeffrey Brown’s ‘Mandalorian and Child’”), designed to appeal to both children and adult fans of the franchise.The 80-page, 6” x 8” hardcover will be released on May 13, 2025, with an MSRP of $16.00.

Dark Horse continues to hold the license for Witcher comics and will publish some never-before-translated titles in March 2025 (see “Dark Horse to Publish Collection of Early ‘Witcher’ Comics”).
