Steamforged will release Street Masters: Tide of the Dragon, a new trade edition of the solo and co-op miniatures board game it offered on Kickstarter earlier this year (see “’Street Masters: Champion Edition'”). The Kickstarter campaign raised £347,994 (about $444,181 at today’s exchange rate) from 3,651 backers.

In the game, players control unique miniature fighters in battles against villainous organizations in either Arcade or Story Mode. Street Masters was originally developed as an Indiegogo project by Blacklist Games; Steamforged took over the property late last year to complete the fulfillment of the Blacklist project along with the Steamforged campaign and offer the product to the trade (see “Steamforged Games Gets ‘Street Masters’”). Tide of the Dragon can be played as an expansion for those that already own other Street Masters games.

The box includes 4 Fighter miniatures, 54 Standees representing enemies, terrain, and additional fighters, 560 Cards, 405 Tokens, 8 Dice, Rulebook, Double-sided map tile, and 15 Dividers. The game is for 1-4 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60-120 minutes. 

Street Masters: Tide of the Dragon will be released at $49.99 MSRP in February 2025.
