April was the month without a blockbuster, with Vol. 25 of Jujutsu Kaisen, a March release, topping the chart for the second month in a row, followed by the first volume of Solo Leveling. These two were the top titles in March as well (see "March 2025 Circana BookScan").
In other words, no April release sold well enough to make the top of the chart, although there are a handful further down: Vol. 23 of Dragon Ball Super, Vol. 3 of Destroy All Humans, the Magic: The Gathering manga, and Vol. 13 of My Dress-Up Darling. These are all titles that make the list when a new volume comes out. In addition, Vol. 12 of Dandadan, which was released on April 1, was number 13 on the March chart and number 20 in April, so it’s likely its early sales surge was split between the two months.
Marvel’s Premier Collection edition of Daredevil: Born Again, a February release, appears in the top 20 for the first time; it's one of the first titles in this new program (see "Marvel Premier Collection Launching February 2025"), and it did appear on the Superhero charts in February and March. The only other non-Asian titles on the chart are Vols. 3 and 2 of Invincible Compendium, which are at numbers 3 and 4, respectively.
