Dark Horse Comics will publish a new edition of Jeff Lemire’s original graphic novel The Nobody, which was first published by Vertigo in 2009 and has long been out of print.  Set in 1994, the story is a reimagining of H.G. Wells’ novel The Invisible Man and follows a bandaged drifter whose appearance creates a disturbance when he shows up in a small fishing village.  Dark Horse will release the 192-page hardcover, with a new cover by Lemire, on February 3, 2026, in bookstores and February 4 in comic shops, with an MSRP of $29.99.

Vertigo published The Nobody in hardcover in 2009 and paperback in 2010, and the American Library Association included it on the Great Graphic Novels for Teens list (see “2010 Great Graphic Novels for Teens”).

Lemire’s memoir 10,000 Ink Stains will be published on July 15, 2025 (see “Jeff Lemire Looks Back”).
