Titan Comics will bring back classic stories from the black-and-white magazine The Savage Sword of Conan, publishing them in a new color version as an ongoing series titled The Savage Sword of Conan: Reforged. The black-and-white stories, which ran from 1974 to 1995, have been collected into trades and omnibus editions before, but Titan is now bringing them back as single-issue comics. The first issue will include two stories, both adapted by Roy Thomas: "Tower of the Elephant," with art by John Buscema and Alfredo Alcala, and "The Frost-Giant’s Daughter," with art by Barry Windsor-Smith. The Savage Sword of Conan: Reforged #1 will go on sale on October 22, 2025, covers by Roberto De La Torre and Boris Valejo; the De La Torre cover will also be available as a foil cover variant without trade dress. MSRP for the 64-page comic is $9.99.
Titan has been co-publishing the Conan properties with IP holder Heroic Signatures since 2023 (see "Titan Comics to Co-Publish Conan") and launched its own black-and-white Savage Sword of Conan magazine, with new stories, in 2024 (see "‘Savage Sword of Conan’ Returns"); Titan also publishes omnibus collections of the original stories (see "Titan Publishing New Editions of Conan Omnibi").
