Batman by Darwyn Cooke: The Absolute Edition is coming from DC Comics on April 7, 2026.

Reprinted in the 544-page hardcover are: Batman: Ego; Batman/The Spirit #1, script by Jeph Loeb; Catwoman: Selina's Big Score; Catwoman (2002) #1-4, script by Ed Brubaker; Solo #5; Stories from Batman: Gotham Knights #23 and #33, Detective Comics #759-762, Harley Quinn Holiday Special #1, and Just Imagine Stan Lee with Chris Bachalo Creating Catwoman; and Cooke's first published story from Talent Showcase (1985) #19.

The volume also includes a gallery of covers and original art and essays by his collaborators, including an introduction and essays by Mark Chiarello, who often edited Cooke.  Darwyn Cooke passed away in 2016 (see "RIP Darwyn Cooke").
