Toy giant Hasbro has reached an agreement with Sony Pictures for the right to produce a full line of toys for Sony's summer blockbuster sequel Men in Black 2 .

Comic and graphic novel orders were up month-to-month again in November, continuing a strong second half for North American comic sales with the largest dollar orders of the year to date.

Comic orders were up again in October, kicking off the fourth quarter with the best dollar month this year to date. Total dollars for October were up over 11% compared to September, which was an unusually strong month when compared to normal seasonal trends.

The initial advance orders to Diamond Comic Distributors for comics shipping in September showed surprising strength this year, with an increase of around 6% vs. August.

According to Variety , X-Men director Bryan Singer plans to revive the classic TV science fiction series, Battlestar Galactica .
