Warner Brothers has signed a multi-year deal making Mattel master toy licensee for the entire DC Universe, including rights to make toys based on future animation and film projects.  Financial terms of the agreement were not released.

DC characters will be appearing in all of Mattel's key brands including Hot Wheels, Radica, Fisher-Price, Tyco and Mattel Games, and they are planning to develop a 'DC Superheroes' section in the toy aisle to draw interest on both the collector and kid fronts.

Mattel's previous DC licensed product lines include Batman Begins, Batman animated series, Justice League animated series, and Batman and Superman action figure lines.
