The usually authoritative L.A. Times is reporting that Warner Bros. has filled a number of the key roles in George Miller's Justice League movie adaptation. According to the Times, Warners refuses to confirm any of the signings, preferring to announce the multi-superhero cast en masse at some future date. Then there is also the possibility that script problems could derail the JLA movie -- especially in view of the current writers' strike (see 'Justice League Movie in Trouble?').
Nevertheless Gina Piccalo of the Times is reporting that OC star Adam Brody 'has closed negotiations' to portray the Flash in Miller's first superhero film. Piccalo also reports that Brody will join Australian supermodel Megan Gale, who beat out Jessica Biel for the Wonder Woman role, Friday Night Light's Scott Porter, who will portray Superman, Wolf Creek's Teresa Palmer, who, as Talia al Ghul, will pitch woo with the Caped Crusader, and the rapper Common, who will be wearing some very special ring bling as the Green Lantern.
