Torchwood: Miracle Day premiered with 1.5 million viewers over the first two showings, according to Variety. The fourth season of the Doctor Who spin-off premiered in the U.S. on Starz before its premiere in the UK (see “New Torchwood Series Debuts in U.S. on July 8th”). The show’s ratings are considered lackluster, and match the premiere episode of Camelot, which Starz canceled recently, according to the report.
