U.S. TV rights to Outcast, an upcoming comic series written by Robert Kirkman (see "Kirkman Writing New Horror Comic for Image"), have been acquired by Cinemax. The comic series, which launches early next year, will have art by Paul Azaceta.
Kirkman and Circle of Confusion’s David Alpert will executive produce the exorcism drama, which was developed at Fox International Channels with a Kirkman script for the pilot. Fox International Channels is the international partner and global broadcaster in 125 countries for Kirkman's The Walking Dead.
