Zenescope Entertainment has announced a return of the comic Charmed, based on the WB TV series. "Season 10" will debut in October at New York Comic Con. The series will be written by Pat Shand (Angel, Robyn Hood), and edited by Paul Ruditis, who was co-author on the previous comic series. The art team will be announced later.
Zenescope acquired the comic and graphic novel rights back in 2010 (see "Zenescope Gets 'Charmed'"), and the 24 issue series "Season 9" which ran from June 2010 through September 2012 often landed on the best-seller charts, with Issue #1 selling over 12,000 copies (see "Top 300 Comics Actual--July 2010") and the first graphic novel selling more than 1,000 copies when it was released (see "Top 300 Graphic Novels Actual--February 2011").
Charmed--Season 10 will run as a monthly series, with trade paperback collections released twice a year.
