New York Comic Con News:  At its panel at the New York Comic Con VIZ Media announced two new manga series that will debut in June of 2015, Sui Ishida’s horror manga Tokyo Ghoul and Go Ikeyamada’s cross-dressing comedy So Cute It Hurts.
 
Tokyo Ghoul, which is rated "T+" (16 and up), is a 14-volume supernatural horror saga published in Japan by Shueisha that has spawned a hot 2014 anime series from Studio Pierrot and been one of VIZ Media’s most requested titles.  The protagonist of Tokyo Ghoul, college student Ken Kaneki, gets into a violent encounter that leaves him half-human, half-ghoul.  Trapped between two worlds, the reluctant monster has to survive Ghoul turf wars, learn more about Ghoul society, and master his new powers.  Tokyo Ghoul, which has a cover price of $14.99, will be published under the VIZ Signature imprint.
 
So Cute It Hurts, which will have a cover price of $9.99. is a shojo title, rated "T" (13+), that will be published under the Shojo Beat imprint.  This ongoing series, which has reached seven volumes in Japan, features teenage fraternal twins Mego and Mitsuru, but only the girl (Mego) is a good history student.  So when Mitsuru convinces Mego to dress up like him and ace his history test, the fun begins.
