Executives from ReedPOP and UDON Entertainment are moving on to different opportunities.
Peter Tatara, International Director, Content and Marketing, at ReedPOP, will be vacating his position effective November 6 to go to new position with Japan Week, a Japanese cultural festival in New York City, which he promises to make "more nerdy." He’s been with ReedPOP for seven years in roles of steadily increasing responsibility, working on New York Comic Con, New York Anime Festival, and other shows.
As of September 30, Chris Butcher, Marketing Director of Canadian Publisher UDON Entertainment, has stepped down from that position with the company, due to increased demands from work as Manager at The Beguiling Books & Art store in Toronto, as well as Director of the Toronto Comic Arts Festival. "I’ll still be working with UDON a little at some of their convention appearances, particularly the two PAX shows, and helping to organize their presence at San Diego Comic-Con," he said in a blog post.
