Marvel has announced a new ongoing Howard the Duck series, written by Chip Zdarsky with art by Joe Quinones, launching in March.
Spinning out of the Guardians of the Galaxy post-credits movie scene, the quack is back, as New York City’s newest private investigator. While Zdarsky (Sex Criminals, Original Sins) and Quinones (Savage Wolverine, Harley Quinn) will be the main team on the book, editor Wil Moss teased "there’ll be some backup stories starting in issue #2 by a dream-team of guest contributors -- a lot of people are eager to take a shot at this duck!"
The first issue will have a main cover by Quinones and a variant by Zdarsky.
Marvel recently released a new hardcover edition of the Howard the Duck Omnibus (see "'Howard the Duck Omnibus'").
