The first teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is premiering in select theaters this weekend (see "'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Trailer Arrives Friday"), has now also been released online, revealing a new lightsaber design.  The film releases December 18, 2015, so this is over a year before the premiere date.  There will, of course, be plenty of games, comics, and other products to sell in the long run-up.
