Inklore has announced it will publish the artist STARember’s graphic adaptation of
Heaven Official’s Blessing, by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, a supernatural romance about a fallen god who was twice cast out of heaven. The comic is based on the novels of the same name, which are published by Seven Seas; the seventh volume reached number 5 on the New York Times paperback fiction best-seller list. STARember’s adaptation was originally released as a webtoon on the Chinese webcomics platform Bilibili, as well as the Lehzin and Webtoon platforms; Bilibili shut down its international comics service in February 2024, and the series is now only available in English on Lehzin. The animated series (donghua) based on the novels is available on Crunchyroll. Inklore will publish the first volume of
Heaven Official’s Blessing (The Comic) on December 2, 2025, as a 256-page hardcover with an MSRP of $30.00.
Aloha Comics is publishing a different six-volume adaptation of Heaven Official’s Blessing based on the animated series. The first volume appeared in December 2024, and the sixth is set for release on June 25, 2025.
Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, often referred to as MXTX, is also the author of Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, a series with a similar feel, which is published as both novels and manhua by Seven Seas (see “Seven Seas to Publish ‘Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation’”). Every volume except the first has sold well enough to place in the BookScan Author Top 20 (see “March 2025 Circana BookScan”).
