VIZ Media and film distributor Eleven Arts have announced a limited theatrical release for the most recent Naruto movie, The Last: Naruto the Movie. The release will begin on February 20 with a 20-city release. Cities where the film will screen include New York, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle. Other cities may be added. The film will be shown in Japanese with English subtitles.
Attendees will receive a limited Naruto film poster while supplies last. In the film, the moon is approaching the Earth and may disintegrate, sending dangerous meteorites, as Naruto tries to save the planet.
This is not the first Naruto film to receive a theatrical release in the U.S. (see “’Naruto’ Movie”).
