Dynamite Entertainment will release Highlander #0, a 25 cent introductory issue to its new series (see 'Dynamite to Publish Highlander Comic'), in July. Michael Avon Oeming and Brandon Jerwa will provide the script, and Lee Moder the art.
The comic will feature 50/50 art and photo covers. The art cover has been painted by Gabriele Dell'Otto.
Two retailer incentives are available free with purchase. For every 100 copies of the #0 issue ordered, retailers will receive a free Dell'Otto sketch cover edition. For every 1000 copies ordered, retailers will receive a free Dell'Otto RRP edition.
The events in the comic take place shortly after those in the first movie.
