Games Magazine has announced its 2011 Games of the Year awards in the recently released December issue.  The list includes three games from Rio Grande Games and one each from Asmodee, Matt Worden Games, USAopoly, and Fantasy Flight Games.  The winners are:

Best New Abstract Strategy Game:  Arimea (Z-Man Games)

Best New Advanced Strategy Game:  Egizia (Rio Grande Games)

Best New Family Game:  Burger Joint (Rio Grande Games)

Best New Family Card Game:  Jaipur (Asmodee Editions)

Best New Family Strategy Game:  Vaidora (Rio Grande Games)

Best New Party Game:  Telestrations (USAopoly)

Best New Historical Simulation Game:  Battles of Napoleon:  The Eagle and the Lion (Fantasy Flight Games)
