The Game Manufacturers Association (also known as GAMA) has released new details about the 2011 GAMA Trade Show (GTS), which will be held at Bally’s Las Vegas from March 14th to 18th, 2011.  The theme chosen for the show this year will be “Times are Changing” and the programs have been designed to focus on the changing nature of the games industry.

GTS is designed to provide information and support for specialty game retailers.  A main attraction of the show is the exhibit hall, which will be open on the afternoons of March 16th and 17th.  Here game publishers will present new and upcoming product for the year.

As in previous years, professional seminars will be presented on a variety of subjects of interest to retailers, publishers, and game professionals.  Game demo and product presentations will also be an important feature of the show, in ways pioneered by Wizards of the Coast and Mayfair in 2009.

GTS will host “traditional” GTS seminars on the mornings of Tuesday, March 15th; Thursday, March 17th; and Friday, March 18th.  “New Premier Presentations” (manufacturer promotions) will be held on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 15th and the morning of Wednesday March 16th.

The 2011 GAMA Trade Show is sponsored by a number of companies, including Bandai, Wizards of the Coast, Mayfair Games, Sandstorm Productions, Bastion, Konami, AEG, ICv2, ACD Distribution, Gamestation, and Alliance Game Distributors.

GAMA is partnering with its sponsors and program providers for an increase in the number of meals provided at the show.
