Looney Labs has announced a licensing deal with Cartoon Network to make Cartoon Network-themed versions of its existing games, Andy Looney said on his website.  The first planned release is Regular Show Fluxx this summer, with an MSRP of $20.00.

Looney said the license includes such Cartoon Network original properties as Adventure Time, Gumball, Dexter’s Laboratory, and the Powerpuff Girls, as well as Regular Show.  He also teased a fall release that will include a mash-up game which will include characters from nine different Cartoon Network shows including Samurai Jack, the Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Gumball, Adventure Time, and Regular Show among others.  If all those titles mashed together sound familiar, it may be because IDW is releasing a CN crossover miniseries comic The Super Secret Crisis War in June (see "IDW's CN Crossover: 'Super Secret Crisis War'").  Coincidence?

Regular Show is about two friends, a Blue Jay named Mordecai, and a raccoon named Rigby, who work as groundskeepers at a local park.  Their attempts to slack off and get out of work leads to strange, surreal misadventures.  The show has more than 150 episodes and has been on Cartoon Network since September 2010.  BOOM! Studios releases comics based on the property (see "BOOM! Studios Launching 'Regular Show' Comic").
