In addition to Haruka: Beyond the Stream, Nightmare Inspector: Yumekui Kenbun, B.O.D.Y., Fairy Cube, and The Record of a Fallen Vampire (see "Viz Adds More Shojo Manga in 08" and "Viz Media Adds Three for 08"), four additional series will launch from Viz in Q2.
On April 1st, Viz will launch its first western series, Gun Blaze West, by Nobuhiro Watsuki (Rurouni Kenshin, Buso Renkin). It will be previewed in Shonen Jump.
On May 13th, Viz will launch Rosario + Vampire, a high school story involving vampires vs. werewolves instead of jocks vs. nerds, by Akihisa Ikeda.
On June 10th, Gimmick!, a new series by Youzaburou Kanari, will premiere. The story focuses on Kohei Nagase, a special effects and make-up expert.
And on June 17th, Cat Eyed Boy, by Kazuo Umezau (Drifting Classroom), will street. The horror story stars a half-human, half-monster child who lives between the human and demon worlds.
