Marvel Entertainment has announced a deal with Reebok, a subsidiary of Adidas, to launch a line of children's sneakers featuring the Marvel superheroes, Iron Man and Hulk.  The shoes will be available exclusively in Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker stores this spring coinciding with the release of the first two movies produced by Marvel Studios, Iron Man and Hulk.

The sneakers will come in both low and mid-rise styles and will retail for between $45 and $65 dollars.  Reebok and Footlocker will promote the new lines with in-store signage and window displays.  The deal demonstrates the aggressive licensing approach Marvel is taking to the launch of the first two Marvel Studios films.  Signage and displays at the mall-based Footlocker stores will add to the awareness of the films among a key movie-going demographic -- and unlike the Spider-Man licensing deal with Sony, in this case Marvel won't have to split licensing revenues with anyone.
