May is on its way and the Hollywood news continues to trickle in.  Time for a round-up!

Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith was re-released into theaters this weekend, and placed at #2 on the box office chart, with $25.2 million in domestic ticket sales, according to Variety.  This movie would fall short of the $35.9 million record raked in by the re-release of Star Wars in 1997, but it would make Revenge of the Sith the box office re-release record holder for Lucasfilm under Disney era.  Revenge of the Sith's original opening, in 2005, broke an all-time, single-day box office record (see "Episode III Soars to Single Day Record").

Netflix announced release dates for Wednesday Season 2, along with a trailer (see below).  The series will hit streaming in two parts; part one will drop on August 6, 2025 and part two will arrive on September 3, 2025.  Netflix also recently revealed plans for a Wednesday spinoff series (see "'Wednesday' Spinoff").

Netflix also released a trailer for DanDaDan Season 2 (see below).  This popular anime series will stream its second season starting on July 3, 2025.  GKIDS Films also recently announced Dan Da Dan's first U.S. theatrical release (see "'DanDaDan'").

20th Century Studios revealed a teaser trailer for Predator: Badlands (see below).  This movie, from the director of Prey (see "New 'Predator' Feature Sets Record"), stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi.  It will hit theaters on November 7, 2025.

FX Networks and Hulu released new official teaser trailer for Alien: Earth (see below). The new series will begin streaming in summer 2025 (see "'Alien: Earth'").

Netflix announced that Emma Mackey has joined the cast of Narnia, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  Mackey will take on the role of the White Witch in this film adaptation helmed by Greta Gerwig (see "Greta Gerwig Heads to 'Narnia'").
