Producers of the Simpsons TV show have issued an apology to the Fox News Network claiming that Simpsons creator Matt Groening was just being 'satirical' when he told Terry Gross of NPR's Fresh Air that Fox News was so upset when the Simpsons ran a fake Fox news crawl with headlines such as 'Democrats Cause Cancer' and '92% of Democrats Are Gay,' that the news network threatened to sue the Simpsons.  Well, if a budding Lou Costello ever needs a straight man, we suggest they call Groening, because he sure fooled us (see 'Fox News Threatened to Sue Simpsons').
