Viz, LLC, has announced the completion of its merger with ShoPro Entertainment, Inc. (see 'Manga Merger!'), to form the newly named Viz Media, LLC, which will specialize in TV and theatrical distribution, publishing, home video distribution and consumer products based on Japanese content.  This merger combines the forces and properties of Shueisha, Inc. (40% owner), Shogakukan, Inc. (40%), and Shogakukan Production Co., LTD. (20%).
