Hachette Boardgames  announced Tag Team, a new arcade-inspired fighting game by Scorpion Masque, which will be released at Gen Con and then, into retail on September 24, 2025.

In this game, designed by Gricha German and Corentin Lebrat, two players create a team of two Fighters each and duke it out.  This game is an auto battler that also features deck-building mechanics, where players start their decks with two cards and add cards as they go.  Characters in the game each have their own techniques and special moves, and different combinations of characters can create different devastating combo moves.  The goal of the game is to a player to Knock Out their opponents' characters and be the last one standing.

Tag Team is for two players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 15 minutes.  It will retail for $24.99.

Hachette Boardgames will also release Nekojima: Torii Pack , a new board game expansion by Unfriendly Games, into retail (see "Add a Torii Gate").
