Manga Entertainment President Marvin Gleicher told ICv2 at the recently concluded Anime Expo in Anaheim, California, that his company will be releasing Karas in America starting in April of 2006. The six-part OAV, licensed from Toshiba Entertainment, will be available on two 90-minute DVDs, with three parts on each. The first 30-minute segment was released in Japan in late May. The storyline follows a hero in the vein of Gatchaman in a 21st century, ghost-haunted Tokyo. The suggested retail price is still to be determined.
