Navarre Corporation, new parent of anime powerhouse Funimation, announced that its sales and profits increased for the quarter ended June 30th.  Sales were up 10.6% to $140.8 million, and profits were up around 9% to $2.4 million.  Funimation, which had 33 post-acquisition (see 'Navarre Completes Funimation Acquisition') days of sales in the quarter, accounted for $5.7 million during the period. 

 

Masters of the Universe DVDs, te big release of another Navarre subsidiary, BCI, hit the market after the end of the quarter (see 'He-Man at #17').
