WizKids has prepared a Halloween surprise for HeroClix players. Four Marvel Zombie figures have invaded the Marvel HeroClix Supernova Expansion, which is slated to be released on November 15th. The four Marvel Zombie figures, Colonel America (the zombie version of Captain America), Spider-Man, Hulk, and Wolverine, made their first appearances at the Supernova pre-release events held last weekend, but they have in fact invaded the entire Supernova release and will be found at a rate of 1 in every 100 Supernova boosters.
WizKids has also announced that it will produce a Marvel Zombies release to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the HeroClix Collectible Miniatures Game, but Marvel fans and HeroClix gamers should be apprised of the fact that WizKids will not be reprinting these four original Marvel Zombies.
In addition to being natural candidates for crossovers into the world of HorrorClix, the Marvel Zombie figures have quite a bit of appeal on their own. Robert Kirkman's Marvel Zombies has been a huge success in its own right (a sequel and a crossover event are in the offing -- see 'Marvel Zombies Take On Army of Darkness') and these Zombie HeroClix figures will likely be highly prized by Marvel fans.
