Flaming Cobra, an imprint of Mongoose Publishing, is planning to release the Lovecraft-tinged science fiction role-playing game, Cthulhutech in May.  The 288-page hardcover (cover price $44.95) includes a complete history of the Aeon War of 2085 as well as nine short stories that provide a flavor of that very violent era and specs for more than 30 wildly different battle mechs. 

Players can choose to play as humans or as the night-skinned, genetically engineered Nazzadi -- and they also have the choice of seven professions.  Best of all they get to climb on board those 30-foot tall mechs and go after their opponents.  But this game is not just a pure science fiction combat exercise, it also contains lots of magic and fantasy elements. This volume details more than 20 unspeakable horrors for players to deal with--in fact it contains everything needed to play the game except for five to ten 10-sided dice.
