TV commercials to support sales of Hidden City Games' Bella Sara kicked off on March 12th on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and ABC Family, hitting 80% of the country.  The venues were chosen in order to reach the target demographic of kid and tween girls.  The ads will run for 13 weeks, until June 10th.  After a four week hiatus, they'll likely go back on for another 13 week flight.  A regional test that ran last fall in Seattle and San Diego provided the basis for this national rollout of advertising.

 

Bella Sara Series 2 shipped to distribution March 1.  Channels include hobby distributors (see 'Bella Sara Available to Hobby'); mass market retailers including Blockbuster, K-Mart, Target, Toys R Us, and Wal-Mart (see 'Bella Sara Goes Mass Market'); and stores serving the equestrian market.  The new set adds flying, swimming, and fantasy horses. 

 

A form of organized activities is planned for hobby stores, which will provide for cooperative play and activities for the target market.
