With the second installment in the Chaotic Trading Card Game, Zenith of the Hive Boosters, set to ship later this month, 4Kids Entertainment has announced the next Chaotic release, Silent Sands Booster Set 3, which will ship to the hobby in May and to the mass market in June.  As is the case with Zenith of the Hive, Silent Sands Booster packs will retail for an MSRP $3.99, and like Zenith, the Silent Sands expansion will add 100 new cards to the game and open up countless new deck possibilities.

The Silent Sands Booster set will include 35 new Creatures, 30 new Attacks, 15 new Mugic cards, 10 new Locations, and 10 new Battlegear cards.  

The first set of the Chaotic TCG, supported by TV advertising in addition to the Chaotic animated TV series that airs on the 4Kids block on Saturday mornings (see "TV Ads for Chaotic"),  was ordered in fairly lightly by hobby retailers, who were unable to get additional supply when the effects of the TV marketing became apparent.  Distributors are expecting heavier sell-in with future sets.
