The new expansion draws upon the Goddess of Victory:  Nikke video game, which pits attractive female soldiers against mechanical aliens called Raptures in a post-apocalyptic future, fighting from underground bunkers run by massive corporations.  The Union Arena set will feature both Nikke warriors and Rapture enemies, allowing players to construct decks built around the various factions of the game.

The Union Arena Card Game:  Goddess of Victory:  Nikke set will include a total of 116 cards with 38 common cards, 37 uncommon cards, 27 rare cards, and 14 super rare cards, plus 7 action point cards.  There will also be alternate art and design cards matching some of those types, including an SR foil card and signature cards featuring the voice actors.  The cards will sport new artwork created exclusively for Union Arena, and will be sold in 12-card boosters packaged 16 packs per display box.  MSRP will be $4.99 per booster.

The new set will follow the release of a Yu Yu Hakusho set and Kaiju No. 8 set in October (see “Bandai Brings ‘Yu Yu Hakusho’ to ‘Union Arena TCG’” and “‘Kaiju No. 8,’ ‘Yu Yu Hakusho’ Join ‘Union Arena’”).
