The Cartoon Network has announced that the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series will debut on Friday, October 3rd at 9 pm (ET, PT) as part of a new Friday night fantasy/action block on the Cartoon Network.   Another new series, Secret Saturdays, will also premiere on October 3rd, and will make up the Friday night block along with Ben 10: Alien Force and two episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Two episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will air on October 3rd.  “Ambush,” which finds Yoda attacked while on a secret diplomatic mission, leads off at 9pm followed by “Rising Malevolence,” in which Anakin and Ahsoka have to find the answer for a Separatist super weapon, follows at 9:30.

Starting on Friday, October 10th, the Friday night block will assume its regular schedule with an episode of Secret Saturdays leading off at 8pm (ET, PT) followed by two episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (at 8:30pm and 9pm) and an episode of Ben 10: Alien Force at 9:30pm.
