TwoMorrows Publishing has announced that Write Now!, the professional “how-to” magazine on writing for comics, animation, and science fiction, is ending its six-year run with Issue #20, which is due out this February.  Much of the credit for the success of Write Now! should go to editor Danny Fingeroth, who brought a wealth of experience as a writer (Dazzler, Darkhawk), editor (he was a longtime group editor for Spider-Man), and script writer (he adapted Howard the Duck) to the job.

The final issue of Write Now!, which is listed in the December issue of Diamond Previews, focuses on Frank Miller’s Spirit--how Miller adapted Eisner’s classic comic strip, and what makes Eisner’s comics so special from a writing standpoint.  Issue #20 also includes an interview with Colleen Doran and a discussion by writer Alex Grecian on how to get your pitch accepted.
