Marvel Entertainment has announced an International Advisory Board to promote its characters around the globe.  So far Marvel has just named two board members, Bollywood producer Manmohan Shetty and China-based Internet entrepreneur Peter Yip.  Mr. Shetty represents India and Mr. Yip China. Eventually Marvel plans to name board members representing other regions including the Middle East and Africa, as well as Latin America.

James Halpin, form head of CompUSA and a Marvel Director since 1995, will chair the Advisory Board, while Simon Phillips, Marvel’s President of Worldwide Consumer Products, will serve as the company’s liaison to the Advisory Board.
