The six episode The Prisoner miniseries will air over three nights November 15-17 on AMC.  Two one hour episodes will air each night.  Jim Caviezel stars as Number 6 and Ian McKellen as Number 2 (see “Jim Caviezel, Ian McKellen in The Prisoner”). 

The miniseries has been getting heavy promotion, with the original series streaming on the AMC site (see “Original Prisoner Series Streaming”), and a big presence at Comic-Con, including a panel with nine minutes of footage, and a giveaway promotional comic produced by Marvel. 

Merchandise is also coming.  Factory Entertainment (the new company which acquired the bones of Master Replicas, see “Master Replicas Acquired”) has been appointed the master toy licensee.  And the Thomas Disch novel on which the series is based will be re-released November 24th with a photo cover from the TV miniseries.
