Electronic Arts and IDW are launching a new EA imprint for videogame-based comics in January. The comics will be produced by EA, and printed and distributed by IDW. Digital versions for iPhone and other digital platforms are also planned. The first two monthly titles will be Army of Two and Dragon Age.
Army of Two, launching in January, will be written by Peter Milligan, with interior art/pencils by Dexter Soy and cover by Chester Ocampo.
Dragon Age: Origins, based on the upcoming BioWare RPG, will be written by Orson Scott Card, with cover by Humberto Ramos and interior artist to be announced.
Dragon Age has other products coming, including a tabletop roleplaying game by Green Ronin (see “Details Emerge on Green Ronin’s Dragon Age RPG”).
