Movie ticketing Website Fandango has sold more advance tickets to Twilight: New Moon than for any other film in the site’s history, beating previous record-holder Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.  The film officially opens this Friday, with many theaters scheduling midnight Thursday showings as their first.

Toys R Us has dedicated shops in its stores nationwide offering a wide array of merchandise, including exclusive Edward gift sets and action figure two-packs from NECA.  A Twilight sweepstake is also underway.  TRU is hosting an autograph signing with Nikki Reed and Kellan Lutz at its Times Square store, which will also have props and scenery from the New Moon set. 

 

Borders is offering Twilight merchandise including apparel, accessories, and paper products (in addition to the books, of course).

 

Nordstrom is offering apparel, jewelry, and cosmetics, including Luna Twilight 'Just Bitten' Staining Balm.

 

Twilight: New Moon premiered in Los Angeles Monday night.
