An Action Comics #1 cover wrap hammered at over $400,000 at Heritage Auctions' June 26-29, 2025 Comic & Comic Art Signature Auction.

As of June 20, the cover wrap had bid up too just under $200,000 (see "Just Under $200,000").  It went for a final value, with buyer's premium included, of $408,000.  This is the most expensive comic book cover sold at auction. 

In addition to the sale of the Action Comics #1 cover, a Frank Frazetta piece of original comic book art went for $1,035,000.  The piece was the original art cover to Famous Funnies #214, featuring Buck Rogers.
