George Melton of Empire Comics in New Albany, Indiana read ICv2's analysis regarding DC's sales for October 2011 (see "New 52 #2s Down Only 6%") and had this to say.
Ummm... why are you reporting that the DC "sales" are holding? None of the books have been returned yet. So, the "sales" are not true. You can't say that the books are "selling" when they are marked for returnability AND we are being pressured into ordering more because we CAN'T return them unless we do! So far, MOST of my DC #2s are selling at about half of what the #1 issues sold.
Certainly DC is selling slightly better than it was before this event but it is nowhere near dominating anything.
