Paramount has set May 17, 2013 as the release date for the J.J. Abrams' Star Trek sequel, which is shooting this winter (see “'Star Trek 2' to Shoot this Winter”), according to Deadline. The date became available when Singularity moved off the May weekend to a later date in November.
The Star Trek sequel had been originally scheduled for June 10, 2012, but that date became impossible when Abrams finished Super 8 first (see “Abrams Likely to Direct ‘Star Trek 2’”). Paramount has now put G.I. Joe: Retaliation on the June date, moving it from the August date it set earlier this year (see “Paramount Sets 'G.I. Joe' Date”).
